Ginnen er destillert med klassiske botaniske ingrediensar som einebær, korianderfrø, kvannrot, rosa pepar, anis og sitrus, i tillegg til lokale ingrediensar som ville bær, raudrips, rabarbra, granskot, røsslyng og markblomar.

Resultatet er ein frisk og balansert gin med tydelege tonar av einer, sitrus, bær og blomar, og eit særpreg henta frå skog, fjell og fjordlandskapet rundt Geiranger.

A new release from Geiranger Brenneri!
This spring, we launched Geiranger Brenneri Botanical Gin, a fresh and flavourful gin inspired by the nature surrounding Geiranger.
The gin is distilled with classic botanicals such as juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, pink peppercorns, anise, and citrus, together with local ingredients including wild berries, redcurrants, rhubarb, spruce shoots, heather, and wildflowers.

The result is a fresh and well-balanced gin with distinct notes of juniper, citrus, berries, and flowers, capturing the unique character of the forests, mountains, and fjord landscape that surround Geiranger.

It’s now been one year since we produced Geirr Angr Pink Gin 💗
A year filled with learning, development, and plenty of new experiences.

This was the very first product we made entirely in our own distillery here in Geiranger, from start to finish. Through the process, we didn’t just get to know the product itself, but also our distillery, equipment, and the local ingredients surrounding us. It helped build the foundation for everything we continue working on today.

One year later, we feel even more at home in the distillery. We’ve learned more about local ingredients, developed new products, and had the pleasure of welcoming many of you for tours and tastings.

This summer, we’ve been out picking spruce shoots, along with a whole mix of flowers and herbs from the mountains here in Geiranger. Last week we ran the very first batch—four bottles at a time, placed into the filler by hand, then lifted out to be corked and labelled one-by-one. No conveyor belts, no shortcuts. Small-batch, fully manual. Find it at Vinmonopolet from 6 May.

Today we kicked off the 2025 season with our very first distillery tour – a lovely little group of six who happened to be visiting Geiranger and decided to step inside for a deeper taste of the fjord.

Today we kicked off the 2025 season with our very first distillery tour – a lovely little group of six who happened to be visiting Geiranger and decided to step inside for a deeper taste of the fjord.

Over the course of an hour and a half, we wandered through the distillery, shared stories, answered all the curious questions, and of course – tasted a few of our spirits straight from the source. 💧

🚨 NEW PROJECT ALERT!🚨

We are excited to share that we are distilling our very first whisky! It has long been a dream of ours to collaborate with the highly renowned Geiranger Bryggeri to make a truly local whisky. The last few weeks we have worked with Frank at the brewery, where he has made the whisky wash.

Only yesterday the beer was transported to our facilities, ready to be distilled. To make whisky, we need to distill it several times to achieve the alcohol percent we want, before aging it on barrels for at least 3-4 years. Today we started on the first of many distillations of our newest product.

Unfortunately, we have to be a bit patient - but we promise it will be worth the wait.
